So reluctantly I'm thinking of parting with my Levin.

Heres a bit about the car:

Its got a Trueno front end on it and reg is on hold.
Has been at the panel beater and had all rust removed and rear gaurds flared with metal. It was then etch primed and painted in 2k paint professionally. Which cost a lot of $. Got dark tints and can come with a beat up facelift front bumper.

This car is very straight and has been sitting in my garage for around 4 years now, so still very clean. Would be ideal build for a street car or race car project.

It doesn't have an engine or box but I can possibly supply either of these for extra as a flat mate has a rebuilt 20v and a t50 to suit as well.

I've also got a 4agte in pieces that I may sell with it... just needs putting back together as I bought new bearings for it. If I sell this then it will come with a megasquirt computer that was running another 4age turbo

It can come with various other bits and pieces depending on how much I get offered for it. I've got a heap of trim bits it can come with and fuel tank etc.

As per above, I've got an Altezza 6 speed gearbox with 3S bellhousing, that I'm selling.

The only problem is that REVERSE DOES NOT WORK.

I bought the box this way, and have had it apart 3 different times with a Toyota mechanic to try and find the issue.

But the problem persists! The next step would be to replace the gear cluster for reverse, as an internal problem there is about the only thing that has not been checked.

It makes a grinding/crunching type of noise if you try put it in reverse.

The gearbox drives fine through all 6 forward gears.

I was keeping an eye out for a damaged gearbox to come up for sale so I could get a reverse cluster.
However unfortunately though I lost patience with this, and bought a second complete working gearbox instead.

I've spent over $800 total on this, so have been planning to persist with it and get it working properly, but my bank balance currently says otherwise.

Does not include the shifter itself, but includes the shifter bracket that bolts to the top of the box.

Includes clutch fork and a (slightly noisy) release bearing, no speedo drive but a W5* one fits to convert it to cable.

$200 takes it away.

I've got an Altezza driveshaft too which I could sell with it for a little extra.

Would suit someone who perhaps doesnt mind the lack of reverse in a race car or something, or perhaps someone who's handy with reassembling gearboxes and would be able to find a reverse gear cluster.

Pics to come shortly, inspections before purchase are welcome.]]>
