Been through many motors and everythings now bigger and better. Keisuke took a few photos awhile back.





Need to lower it more and sort a front chin spoiler.
has w55 box/niteparts bell, ae92 gze flywheel, t series disc rear end, 4.556 locker, 4pot front brakes, BC red front adjusties.

Started building up another NA 4age, this time carbied, and alot more time and effort put into it.





Shit all over the floor!


Need to paint rocker covers soon, oh motor is in the car, and it actually runs. Just been sorting fuel pump and other things.

Specs on motor are:
smallport pistons, block decked 7thou, silvertop 20v rods and crank. bottom end (pistons, pins, rods, caps, etc) lightened, weight matched etc. All clearances etc everything checked.
Oil galleries/drains (head and block) smoothed up and all castings removed, (bigport head has no oil drain) head machined 35thou, 1.2mm standard headgasket, 11:1 compression, 34cc chambers polished, "trd style" valve deshrouding, standard valves, trd valve springs, 1szfe shimless buckets, bigport cams for now to get it drivable. Will be looking at 300ish duration/9ishmm cams at some point.
Weber 40s, toda cam gears, fujitsubo extractors.

car came with full swaybar option, roof spoiler, Moonsoon shield, immaculate interior with full granny seat covers offf an old man.

Stuff waiting to get equipped: Jamex front coilover sleeves with 10kgs for the front.
Currently looking for: aftermarket front and rear swaybars, underbody and strut bracings - just about to buy full bushing kit for the car as well.

does anyone know where to get aftermarket swaybars off the shelf for a gx71? or even underbody and strut bracings? haha having a hard time here engine conversion will be done when funds allow haha but not yet]]>

Mods will be dependent on work i guess, but it does seem 1js are plentiful and cheap!

A good condition (or at least quiet and not leaking oil) complete 4.1 open head to swap my trd centre into would be good.

Or possibly good condition crown wheel and pinion.

I guess could go higher depending on what ratio's about.

In Auckland but option around depending on freight cost due to weight.

started ripping the wiring/everything out. what a CUNT of a job..





spent a hour or so getting the remaining sound deadening glue out with a wire wheel, WAY easier that pissing about with petrol etc

been playing at the SURFAB fantasy factory today after work. Did some seam welding, now about 90% of the front of the car is done, and about 50% of my arms are burnt to shit

decided to weld the strut bar mount doofers to the car as the std holes had been slogged to buggery




"Clearanced" the inner guard with a gas torch, big hammer and the power of Simon



Simon and Dan at SURFAB have welded in dreams



dash bar only tacked in as i needed to confirm wheel height, will be about 40mm higher

front rear and side windows out for paint cheers to Bakey


more awesome work by the SURFAB boys, infact fab work is about done, will hopefully beat KUSTOMS INC tomorro for some new paint action

pretty poor cond body rust wise, have been attacking it getting rid of the rust, Plan is to paint it red/black like factory, will paint wheel centres gold, and refurb the lips

doesn't look like much, but it is almost 30 years old



Has pretty sweet blue top with flow's, hoping to keep it standard, might somehow end up supercharged down the track ? will see


plan is to look something like this, maybe even try hunt a trueno front ?
